Swimmers must be able to swim a 25 free style with knowledge of backstroke. This is our pre competitive group that will focus on learning how to do all 4 stroke legally. All four competitive strokes must be performed legally for 25 yards for entry onto our competitive groups. Ideal age (but not limited to) is 6-12 years of age.

This group must be USA Swimming legal at a fairly high level in all four competitive strokes, and be able to do a flip turn and racing dive from the blocks. Swimmers in this group have mostly 8&U “B” – “A” times or 9-10 C times and/or some “B” times. Stroke technique and race patterns are emphasized, endurance and overall fitness is improved as we build the concept of team unity and support. Goals are to achieve Oregon Swimming state times.
Swimmers in this group are expected to compete in meets monthly.
We train for 200 IM and 200 free to balance best and worst strokes and eliminate weaknesses.

Swimmers are experienced and highly motivated 9 -10 year old’s who have demonstrated a commitment to swimming as a competitive sport. These swimmers are mostly “B+” - “A” swimmers with the goal to make State or AG Regionals. Goal setting and achievement are taught and monitored in this group. Swimmers in this group focus on developing through precision, aerobic work, and above all, FUN!!!!
Swimmers in this group should attend at least four to five practices a week. Competitions are expected to remain in the group.
We train for 200 IM and 200-500 free to balance best and worst strokes and eliminate weaknesses. This will provide more opportunities for development into senior swimming.

These swimmers are 11-12 year old swimmers. Most have year-round swim team experience but may also be committed to other activities in addition to swimming. These swimmers are capable of swimming all 4 competitive strokes consistently without disqualification.
We put a big emphasis on stroke technique and aerobic training in their workout. This group is geared towards swimmers who are continuing to learn skills such as clock management, some advanced drills, flip turns and starts.
Participation in swim meets is expected.
We train for 200 IM and 200 free to balance best and worst strokes and eliminate weaknesses.

Swimmers in this group are expected to make 90% of practices as well as making all the meets.
We continue train for 400 IM and 500 – 1,650 free to train the whole swimmer but start to focus more on their best stroke.
